Going Toe-to-Toe

From Kalpulli Community

Dear relatives everywhere,
as one watches the US and other members of the real axis of evil slowly unravel like an endless bad movie in slow motion,
it is more than abundantly clear that we’re going to have to metaphorically and literally take off the gloves, and confront those whose addiction to business as usual will get us all killed.
There are times when members of our governing council can speak for the whole organization.
At this juncture however, I may or may not be speaking for all of my fellow directors of Kalpulli.
It turns out that we have gotten about 336 hits in the month of March. But dear people, what good are hits without substantive responses?
Kalpulli as we have said more than once, is a penultimate enterprise dedicated to ecological and cultural restoration with emphasis on indigenous cultures everywhere. The public constantly hears from public broadcasting services and other well-meaning enterprises and perhaps there is a weariness that has not only set in but has hardened like concrete.
Our enterprise, however, is not a charity – nothing short of a revolution.
However we do need to hear from the world community. At the risk of repeating myself, if every person on this planet who cares about community, ecological health, peace, women’s rights, physical and mental health, etc.,
would send a dollar to our PO Box,
we could start doing the work of restoring the environment and creating the conditions within which native peoples and cultures could recover from colonialism and resume their long
evolutionary march.
In addition, we are prepared to fight those who are addicted to business as usual and eventually get them removed from their positions of power.
In a previous editorial, we called for the people to harangue the White House until Rahm Emanuel , White House Chief of Staff, and his fellow thugs are summarily fired by Obama. This is precisely what I mean by taking off the gloves.

In addition to restoration and education, we’re going to go toe-to-toe with the bad guys, until they’re but a memory.
Case in point, we’re going to go to bat for single-payer health care in this country.
That would include nationalizing the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.
So dear people, please send your dollars to:
Kalpulli Turtle Island Multiversity
P.O. Box 28152
St. Paul, MN 55128
U.S.A.

Let us, in the words of John Coltrane, be a force for good everywhere.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
