Reaching out in April

My dear relatives everywhere,

It is not out of anger that I share these words with you but out of my sense of frustration that is more than a little concerning. for the last several months several of us in Kalpulli have been expressing ourselves on this site.
For reasons which we don’t pretend to understand,
we are not getting the substantive responses for which we’d hoped.
This organization is not some new-age fly-by-night aberration.
It is a concept which is at once radical without being fanatical. It is based on the hard proposition or fact that without ecological & cultural restoration, with emphasis on indigenous peoples everywhere, we don’t have a future. We’ve lost to the nation-state or the corporation.
If lost to the metastasizing cancer of religious and economic fundamentalism, if left to militarism and the mentality of impunity, which seems to be all-pervasive,
from central Africa to Washington DC, we shall say in the words of the late and lamented Woodie Guthrie, So long, it’s been good to know you.
As these words appear before you, there is yet another ecological catastrophe in progress: it seems that a ship from China got jammed up in the Great Barrier Reef off Australia.
Oil is leaking from that vessel. I have several blunt messages: first for China:
get off your police-state capitalist high horse,
stop blindly imitating the US,
stop persecuting the Tibetans, the Pelan-Gong movement,
journalists and lawyers who dare to question your policies,
and grow up!
Yours is an ancient and wonderful civilization. Seek out its better angels.
Combine them with what you learn from the rest of the world, and take your rightful place in the family of Nations. The next blunt message is for Africa:
find your way back to Pan-Afrikanism and Afrikan socialism,
restore your own spirituality,
the spectacle of Nigerians killing each other over introduced religions would turn the stomach of anyone.
Create a peace-making, peace-keeping force which could eliminate gangs like the so-called Lord’s Resistance Army, get rid of all the missionaries and learn to be African again.
As a matter of fact, I hope to hear from my dear brother and friend, Dr. Mina Wakinyate.
Two more blunt messages:
for the Indigenous peoples of the world,
take back your spirituality, get rid of the proselytizers, and join us in creating a pan-Indigenous blueprint for taking back this planet.
To people everywhere:
we’ve repeatedly stated that if every person on this planet who cares about peace, ecological health, women’s rights, and the other splendid values of our evolving species, would send a dollar or more to our PO Box,
we could truly be what John Coltrane would call A force for Good.

We would be the lever, called for by Archimedes 2000 years ago,
to move the world. Please let us hear from you,
even at my own email:
rtricomo@yahoo.com

We’ll see you in the Fifth World which is to come.
Respectfully,
Ray Tricomo
